Based on the novel by Stephen King that later became a hit movie, Misery follows successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash by his “number one fan,” Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive in her secluded home. Annie forces Paul to write a new Misery novel, and he quickly realizes Annie has no intention of letting him go anywhere.

Drama critic Mortimer Brewster’s engagement announcement is upended when he discovers a corpse in his elderly aunts’ window seat. Mortimer rushes to tell Abby and Martha before they stumble upon the body themselves, only to learn that the two old women aren’t just aware of the dead man in their parlor, they killed him! Between his aunts’ penchant for poisoning wine, a brother who thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt, and another brother using plastic surgery to hide from the police—not to mention Mortimer’s own hesitancy about marriage—it’ll be a miracle if Mortimer makes it to his wedding.

However, contestants Beatrice, Eaddy, and Imogene have other ideas. But none of it will matter if Maude refuses to give up her crown! With a tambourine-playing squirrel, a Christmas-obsessed pageant hopeful, dueling Elvises, and a spray tanning disaster, hilarity ensues.

We're excited to announce that Music City Christian Fellowship will be returning to Barn Lot for their fifth year! Doors will open at 6 PM, with the concert beginning at 6:30 PM.
