Auditions
FOUR OLD BROADS ON THE HIGH SEAS AUDITIONS
Join us for auditions for Four Old Broads on the High Seas, to be held on Monday, May 5th and Tuesday, May 6th. Auditions will begin at 6pm CST.
Location: Barn Lot Theater Annex Building (formerly the Auction Barn Building), 107 N. Main St., Edmonton.
Audition Format: Participants will perform a cold reading from the script.
Alternative Arrangements: If you are unable to attend the scheduled audition, please contact info@barnlottheater.org to make alternative arrangements.
Rehearsals and Performances: Anticipate at least two rehearsals per week, increasing frequency as the production date approaches. Depending on the role cast, actors may not be required to attend all rehearsals. Please bring any known schedule conflicts to auditions.
Parking: Available in the alley beside the building or at the Metcalfe County government building next door.
Participation Requirements: Any volunteer over the age of 18 requires background check.

BEATRICE SHELTON – Senior, bawdy former burlesque dancer
EADDY MAE CLAYTON – Senior, desperately religious
SAM SMITH – Senior, former Elvis impersonator and fiancé to Imogene
IMOGENE FLETCHER – Senior, sassy and bold fiancée of Sam
MAUDE JENKINS – Senior, dingbat wannabe beauty queen
HERBERT – 50s/60s, slick and overly tan villain
CAPTAIN SHELDON STERLING – 50’s/60s, ship’s captain
STEVEN DUPREE/MISS TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD – 20s/40s, luggage porter by day and drag queen entertainer by night
JIM ROCKSTONE/MELVIN TRICKLE – 30s/40s, bumbling ship’s detective
HORACE BUMPUS – Senior, rickety and browbeaten husband
EDNA BUMPUS – Senior, rickety and hard-of-hearing wife
